Please join us to hear the fascinating story of the first Trans-Canada flight of 1920. The Canadian Air Board sponsored the flight to test the viability of aircraft for mail and passenger service. A huge Felixstowe F3 flying boat flew the leg from Quebec to Winnipeg, landing on the Red River, at what would become Winnipegs first commercial airport. The flight carried on from Winnipeg to Vancouver using land planes of the newly created Canadian Airforce.
